Hare - The person who sets the trail
FRB - Front running bastard (i.e. those in front)
"On On" - What is yelled by the FRBs to let those behind know they are on the trail
Check - A mark made with tapoica powder to let the FRBs know the trail could go one of two or more ways.
"Checking" - What is yelled by an FRB after he/she has found a check but before he/she is "on on"
"Are You?" - Called when there is someone in front of you checking for trail to find out if they are On on or not.
False Trail - A devious device used by the hare to slow the FRBs
Paper - shredded paper used to mark the trail
Shiggy - Thick brush
Downer or Down Down - A beer to be finished at one time
On On On - Food at a restaurant after the hash and circle
Circle - The time after the run when the jokes and songs are led by the GM (see Mismanagement Committee)
