Next Hash Pushed Forward - October 8th

Leave No Man’s behind is the hare for the next hash.

Unfortunately, he has to go play with his little army friends in the States on the 3rd week of October.

To accommodate this hunk of a Hare, we are pushing forward the next Hash. I think it’s a first in the history of CRHHH: being ahead of time.

See you in a couple of weeks!

Today's Hash

In order to avoid the same kind of fiasco that we had last time, I sent out yesterday to see if Bad Hobbit was better than me with directions.

He is.

It takes about 45 minutes to get there at a leisurely speed. Don't forget it starts at 3.

Did I mention the place looks awesome?

Directions, once again:

Start time: 3 PM
Google Pin:

Hash starts earlier. Make sure you allow plenty of time to get there. Wirgin Bruce may be failing his duties again, but he did deliver some hash signs, so it will pretty well indicated.

1. From the Mengrai statue, head south on the service road (towards Central)
2. Turn left at Sri Sai Mun, towards Wiang Chai.
3. Keep going, over the airport highway, through and past Wiang Chai, all the way to the end.
4. When road joins 1152, turn left towards Phaya Mengrai
5. After Km stone 19 (the side facing the road), keep going a few hundred more metres.
6. Turn right towards Ban Huai Kang.
7. After around 7 km, at the top of the hill, there’ll be a huge standing Buddha statue on the left side.
8. Turn right, and follow the dirt road all the way down to the lake, where there’ll be plenty of dirt to park on. The run will take place at Huai Tad Thong Forest Park.

NEXT HASH POSTPONED 1 WEEK - DIRECTIONS FOR SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH HASH

It seems like we’re gonna a get rain this weekend. A LOT of rain. Bad Hobbit worked so hard on this special Hash, we thought it would be only fair to postpone the hash for a week to make sure we got a good attendance.

From what he says, it might be a bit of a challenging hash, but it will be a very rewarding one. But have no fear, Bad Hobbit is a thoughtful hare and has made provisions for the challenge-averse hashers.

All this to say: do come to this one, it’s going to be a good one!

TRANSPORT FOR SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 17TH

Bad Hobbit, affectionately renamed Dildo Baggins, will be the hare for the next hash. He promised some stunning scenery but there’s a catch: it is a bit further than we are accustomed to, around 35 km from town.

I’ll post the directions next weekend, when I get a more precise location from Bad Hobbit.

In the meantime, if you need a ride, please contact me at 09-9139-4240 ASAP so we can arrange transport. Shocking didn’t seem to mind if we totalled one of his cars…
