In order to avoid the same kind of fiasco that we had last time, I sent out yesterday to see if Bad Hobbit was better than me with directions.
He is.
It takes about 45 minutes to get there at a leisurely speed. Don't forget it starts at 3.
Did I mention the place looks awesome?
Directions, once again:
Start time: 3 PM

Hash starts earlier. Make sure you allow plenty of time to get there. Wirgin Bruce may be failing his duties again, but he did deliver some hash signs, so it will pretty well indicated.
1. From the Mengrai statue, head south on the service road (towards Central)
2. Turn left at Sri Sai Mun, towards Wiang Chai.
3. Keep going, over the airport highway, through and past Wiang Chai, all the way to the end.
4. When road joins 1152, turn left towards Phaya Mengrai
5. After Km stone 19 (the side facing the road), keep going a few hundred more metres.
6. Turn right towards Ban Huai Kang.
7. After around 7 km, at the top of the hill, there’ll be a huge standing Buddha statue on the left side.
8. Turn right, and follow the dirt road all the way down to the lake, where there’ll be plenty of dirt to park on. The run will take place at Huai Tad Thong Forest Park.
